A pump curve chart helps you determine a pump’s ability to produce flow under the conditions affecting a pump’s performance AND choose the right pump for the job.

To overcome head loss created in pipe systems caused by friction, valves, and fittings, a pump must produce enough pressure differential.

A pump curve shows the two performance factors on the X,Y axis, allowing you to see the fluid volume a pump can transfer under a different pressure conditions.
